Bertrand Traore put Chelsea ahead five minutes before half-time in their pre-season friendly in Austria.
Traore bundled the ball in from close range after being teed up Willian’s low cross from the right.
Earlier, Willian picked out Victor Moses, who fired against the post.
Moses then squared the ball for Traore, who shot over, and Papy Djilobodji’s header from Willian’s corner was saved before Chelsea eventually found the net.
Diego Costa almost doubled their lead just before the interval when his shot from the edge of the penalty area was well saved.
