Chelsea plan to pursue a deal to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, the Sunday Express say.

N’Golo Kante’s move from Leicester to Stamford Bridge has triggered speculation that he could be joined by Algerian Mahrez, who has also been linked with Chelsea this summer.

Arsenal and Barcelona are said to be keen on the 25-year-old, but Blues boss Antonio Conte is apparently determined to sign him.

The arrival of midfielder Kante has also prompted further speculation about Nemanja Matic’s future at Chelsea.

ESPN believe Juventus are confident of agreeing a deal to sign the Serbian, who has also been linked with Manchester United.

The Daily Mail suggested last week that Chelsea do not want to sell Matic despite their targeting of Kante.
