D-Day for QPR in striker bid

Henrique’s application for a work permit is being considered this morning.

QPR have agreed the signing of the Brazilian on an initial loan deal from Sao Paulo with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer, although there are doubts over whether the move will go through.

Rangers have submitted the necessary paperwork in order to state their case and are hoping the striker, 20, is given the green light to move to England.

Henrique attracted the attention of several European clubs at last year’s Under-20 World Cup, when he was top scorer and was voted the tournament’s best player.
