Transfer gossip: QPR planning Bidwell bid, Mirror say
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…
QPR are preparing a bid for Brentford captain Jake Bidwell, the Mirror say.
The Bees, who signed Bidwell from Everton in 2013 after he impressed while on loan, reportedly value him at £3m.
Bidwell is one of a number of left-backs Rangers have made enquiries about since the end of the season.
Chelsea have once again been linked with Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal.
The Daily Star have picked up on a report on a Spanish website which claimed that the Chilean midfielder is wanted by Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of Everton’s former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Evening Standard say the Blues are confident of clinching a deal to re-sign Lukaku this summer.
The Express, on the other hand, link Lukaku with a possible move to Napoli after La Gazzetta dello Sport suggested the Italian club are keen to sign him.
And reports in Portugal claim Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to bring Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Mario to Stamford Bridge.
