Transfer gossip: Gladbach tipped to offer £4m for Christensen

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Borussia Mönchengladbach remain keen to sign Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on a permanent deal, the Daily Mirror reports.

Christensen, 19, has impressed for the German club, who made it clear a couple of months ago that they would like to buy him.

There has since been much speculation about his future, with a number of English clubs linked with the Dane.

And the Mirror now say Gladbach will offer £4m for Christensen in an attempt to agree a deal.

The Mirror also say John Terry will be offered the chance to take over as manager of Danish club Brondby.

Terry, who has said he will be leaving Chelsea when his current contract expires at the end of the season, has apparently been sounded out by Brondby owner Jan Bech Andersen.

Meanwhile, based on a transfer-gossip website’s claim that Barcelona are interested in Alexandre Pato, the Daily Express suggest Chelsea could make a profit by signing the on-loan forward from Corinthians for an agreed £9.2m and then selling him for more.
