Transfer gossip: More Lukaku speculation and Chelsea are tipped to loan out Houghton

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Following recent reports that Chelsea want to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton, the Express suggest the Blues will table a bid for the striker.

The Sun on Sunday claimed at the weekend that Chelsea want Lukaku to return to Stamford Bridge and would have to pay double the £28m they sold him to Everton for in 2014.

The Express have followed that up by claiming Chelsea are preparing to ‘swallow their pride’ by making a £58m offer.

Manchester United are also said to be keen on Lukaku, who has scored 23 goals this season.

The Express also pick up on another Sun story – Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans being linked with a possible move to the Bridge.

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is apparently a close friend of the 18-year-old and the club supposedly believe he can persuade Tielemans to sign for them.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are ready to send midfielder Jordan Houghton out on loan again, according to Teamtalk.com.

Houghton, 20, was at Gillingham earlier this season. The League One club opted not to extend his loan spell.
