QPR’s second-half display angers Hasselbaink
QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink described his team’s second-half performance as “unacceptable” after they were beaten 2-0 at MK Dons.
Rangers, who have won just four of their 17 matches under Hasselbaink, were on top in the first half but switched off at the start of the second and Dean Lewington put the hosts ahead.
Josh Murphy had a penalty saved by R’s keeper Alex Smithies following a challenge by Paul Konchesky, but Ben Reeves made no mistake with an injury-time spot-kick after Karl Henry was adjudged to have fouled Rob Hall.
“The second half is not acceptable and is not what we stand for,” Hasselbaink said.
“We have to be honest. That is not how we do things. Normally we come out in the second half stronger and today we didn’t.
“You have to earn the right to play – the right to be able to have the ball – and we didn’t earn that.”
But Hasselbaink insisted neither of the Dons’ penalties should have been awarded.
He said: “For the first one, my left-back is saying he got the ball, and for the second Karl Henry just put his body in front of the player and the player kicks him.”

JFH picked the wrong team to start with on saturday.Playing Washington up front on his own is not the answer. He did not win one ball all afternoon and needed polter to win and hold the ball for him as for the midfield there was no pride or commitment there just as both the Fulham games home and away.We pay good money to watch these games .Does JFH know his best side yet?

Today shows how difficult that this league is the toughest league in the world to get out of,give JFH the time he needs, as we will be a totally different team next season but to me Fernandes has to go and lets hope Ferdinand frecking well goes too.

Oh dear. Every week its the same, we play well for 20 minutes, and the rest of the time frankly we look uninspired, heavy legged and outclassed. Where is the inventiveness, skills and ca va voom? I think jfh is essentially a nice guy, but tactically naive and has no plan b.
