Half-time: Bolton 0 QPR 0

QPR striker Conor Washington

Conor Washington came close to scoring his first QPR goal in an otherwise dreary first half in wet and windy conditions at the Macron Stadium.

Washington beat his man and forced a fine save from Ben Amos with a powerful drive the Bolton keeper did well to push away.

Earlier, Amos kept out an effort from Junior Hoilett after the Rangers wide-man had exchanged passes with Massimo Luongo.

At the other end, Liam Feeney and Jay Spearing sent shots wide of the target and Zach Clough went close with a spectacular overhead kick.

Washington started up front after shaking off an ankle knock, replacing Sebastian Polter, while Karl Henry came in for Daniel Tozser in midfield.

QPR: Smithies; Perch, Onuoha, Hall, Konchesky; Phillips, Henry, Luongo, Hoilett; Mackie, Washington.
