QPR fans on Twitter react to latest defeat
QPR fans on Twitter have been reacting to another Rangers defeat, this time against bottom side Rotherham.
The loss was the third in a row and left the R’s 18th in the Championship table, just three points above the relegation zone.
And while many fans remain supportive of Ian Holloway following his recent return as manager, others have questioned the decision to bring him back.
Four matches into Holloway’s second spell in charge and the mood among many fans is one of serious concern.
Nothing inspiring from Holloway, I said I would give him 5 games B4 I judge……Not looking promising! #QPR #gettingworse!

Today I watched the worst football this season. Holloway is a step backword. His appointment was purely based on sentiment. #QPR #RHMQPR

Something is definitely missing at #QPR at the moment. The lift & spirit that Holloway/Birch was bringing has yet to translate into results.

Holloway was limited at best in his first stint! Media clown employed by an owner that keeps making terrible decisions. #QPR

We are a very very poor side. Holloway has an immense job on. #qpr

Can we stop this bizarre Holloway/Bircham experiment now please. #QPR #RHMQPR #goingdown

Decision to appoint #Holloway looks a bad one. The decision to award a 2 and a 1/2 yr contract looks a terrible one. #QPR

So are all the Ollie lovers still smiling now?? Glad to see the positive impact a new manager has brought to the team #QPR #sawitcoming

Ian Holloway is his own worst enemy,he Is like the three brass monkeys,he won’t listen to what everyone else says,he can’t see what a poor team we really are and he doesn’t want to speak what he really thinks.I think we have to give him time to shape and mould a team but for goodness sake Ian be honest with the fans and the players and the respect will be shown by all.

Will never get anywhere whilst we’re chopping and changing managers the owners don’t give any manager any time to put his stamp on the club, seem to want instant sucess even though we’re shopping for bosmans and lower league players these days. Spent a fortune previously and got us knowhere should have stuck with warnock the first time around they treated him shabbily after he got rangers up you only have to look at burnley dyche got them straight back up warnock would have one the same, instead of that gave hughes an open cheque book and signed esteban granola and many other mercaneries that just came for massive wages and deserted the sinking ship asap up the road with pockets full of cash kerching. The short sighted owners got what they deserved if the truth be known and it breaks my heart to say that as i believe fernandes and co’s heart in the right place but just to trigger happy. Just my opinion be interested what others R’sss fans think.

Unfortunately Ian Holloway inherited a crap team but all these systems of play only confuse. Lets go back to the basic 4-4-2 that everybody understands, Ian can build his own team later.

I think its the formation, most players have been brought up with 4-4-2 as the players know there roll in that formation. I personally
would play 4 -3-1-2 with one player coming out to sit behind the two forwards. Chery comes to mind.

The problem with QPR is Tony Fernandes. Let’s recall the appointment of Hasselbank. At the time Neil Warnock had steadied a rocking boat after Chris Ramsey’s efforts. But Neil was told that a permanent job as Manager was out the question. Fernandes wanted a young manager with new ideas. Hasslebank has the supposedly credentials and joins but loses the job a year later. So Fernandes appoints Holloway. Someone with experience and a QPR connection. An appointment which defies the ideals a year ago.
There have been a number of managers at QPR. The most successful was Warnock under the Briatiore days. All the optimism Fernandes gave after the play off win was “spin”. By the time Christmas arrived in that season after getting back in the premiership the club had declined. The owner had given up. Maybe blame Fetnandes mind being elsewhere after the Malaysian airplane crash but since then the club has steadily plummeted. No huge investment in players. No further forward with a new training facility. And all this nonsense about a new stadium. Nothing has materialised.
I hope Holloway turns things around. But it looks like QPR are heading towards darker days

Holloway is ok,dust we only have a couple of decent players, the rest belongs in Division 1.Even Jose Mourinho would struggle do do better.

As usual there are a lot of so called fans on Twitter giving their expert opinion thinking they know more about the beautiful game than men who have been in it a lifetime. QPR needs stability more than anything else right now and because a few empty vessels are making the most noise it is they who are heard above common sense!

I spent nearly nine hours on the Motorway, to watch a performance that lacked Pride Passion and any sentiment. When I team tries I will give them 100% support, but unfortunately this team is poor what with Derby Villa and Brighton coming up if no points we are looking at relegation.
Come on Les do us a favour and resign, you might not get the blame when we go down then.

Not sure how or why QPR appointed IH. He left Millwall in an absolute mess, the guy talks a good game, but is what we call a ‘spoofer’
