More speculation over Austin – and Sunderland are linked with Hoilett
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR…
There is yet more speculation over Charlie Austin’s future today, with Newcastle again tipped to make a move to sign him.
QPR want £15m for the striker and have rejected a £12m bid from Leicester – the first offer or approach made for Austin despite numerous reports of various clubs attempting to sign him.
Newcastle are now ready to make an offer around the £15m mark, the Sunday Express claim.
The Daily Star Sunday also say Newcastle are prepared to meet QPR’s asking price in order to beat Leicester to his signing.
The Sunday People pick up on recent speculation that Austin would prefer to stay in London, suggesting he is waiting to see if Chelsea come in for him and, if they do not, that he would favour a move to West Ham.
And The Sun on Sunday reports that Bournemouth will offer QPR £14m for the 25-year-old.
Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror say Sunderland, recently linked with Matty Phillips, are ready to make a £2.5m bid for Junior Hoilett and that German club Borussia Monchengladbach are also interested in the R’s winger.

Charlie Austin to Chelsea……..don’t make me laugh, where has he got that idea from, look at Remy in my view a far better striker than Austin and he sat on the bench most of the season at Chelsea…who has given the boy that advice, some players move to another team because they believe in there own publicity this is another player thinking he can join a big club and feels he can make a difference to the team he is joinig.sorry Charlie you are a good striker at Qpr but anywhere else I don’t think so, your end up in the same changing room as the star players you have joined but you won’t be a star player yourself at chelsea you will be there as a squad player.you would not start more than 12 games in any season unless they have a glut of injurys.stay put sign the improved contract and carry on at Qpr where your loved.loyalty is king not dreaming you won’t make Chelsea and to be fair you was only in the England squad because Harry Kane played for the u21’s.ambitioncan sometimes make you make the wrong decisions, and on hoillet or in the stands he known as toilet bye your awful.
