Keeper among youngsters released by QPR
Northern Ireland Under-19 goalkeeper Gareth Deane is among five youngsters being released by QPR.
Deane, who was on Linfield’s books before being snapped up by Rangers, is leaving along with Danny McDonnell, Jordan Walker, Marcel Henry-Francis and Callum Webb.
Centre-back Ben Brown, on the other hand, has been given a professional contract by the club.
A number of other youngsters, including Bruno Andrade and former Spurs academy player Freddie Champion, signed pro deals with the R’s earlier this year.
