Faurlin ‘feels great’ after Under-21 run-out
Alejandro Faurlin took an important step towards a first-team return by coming though 45 minutes of QPR’s newly-created development side’s first match of the season.
Faurlin played the first half of the game against Charlton at the Championship club’s Eltham training ground.
Hogan Ephraim also featured for Rangers, who lost the game 1-0.
“I’m really happy to have got the 45 minutes – it feels great,” the popular midfielder told West London Sport.
“It has been very difficult not playing but I feel much better now because I am getting the minutes and I know I’ll soon be ready to play [for the first team] again.
“To be out for such a long time is not easy but I’ve worked hard, the knee is okay, and now it’s about fitness.”
