Fulham’s Trotta joins Brentford on loan
Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has joined Brentford on loan.
The Bees have also captured Northern Ireland international full-back Lee Hodson from Watford, with both players joining on an initial deal until 13 January.
Trotta, 20, and Hodson, 21, will be eligible to play in the FA Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
They trained with their new team-mates on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s clash with Sheffield United.
Boss Uwe Rosler has been forced to bolster his squad after injuries to Leon Legge, Kevin O’Connor and Farid El Alagui.
Rosler brought in Wigan centre-back Rob Kiernan last week as cover.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield striker James Spencer has returned to the Terriers after his loan spell at Griffin Park ended.
